English Language Acquisition

Fort Logan provides English as a Second Language services to those students who have limited proficiency in English. All students are tested during Jump Start or on entrance to the school. These tests are used to determine if ESL services are needed. If they are needed, parents are contacted to discuss the program and services provided.

Fort Logan will make every effort to provide our parents, who speak a language other than English, with support at Parent-Teacher conferences or when meetings are needed. Lina Gomez, our family liaison is available for Spanish speaking parents at extension 6721, to answer any questions, make an appointment, or help with translations.
