School Closing or Delay of School

School closings in Sheridan School District are rare and usually happen only when weather conditions are severe and roads impassable. Sheridan School District uses most metropolitan radio and television stations to announce the closing of the schools. Major channels, 2, 4, 7, and 9 broadcast school closings at an early hour. When school is delayed, Fort Logan classes will begin exactly one hour late. Busses will also run exactly one hour behind the daily schedule.
